About Me

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from Old Dominion University. As I attended school, I worked in banking for 7 years before I became an at-home mom. While caring for my family, I returned to my first love; Baking! When I was little, I absolutely loved baking from scratch and making treats with my Grandma Marjorie. I really cherish those special times that I spent in the kitchen with my Grandma. When I became a mom, I wanted to create those same sweet memories with my own children. During the weekends and summer break, I gathered my little ones in the kitchen with me. We cooked together, made homemade bread, cookies, cakes and treats. My love for baking continued to grow; soon, I found myself studying cake design. Before I knew it, I was making cakes for my family and friends. I was so proud of my work, that I decided to share a few pictures of my cakes on Facebook. That’s when everything changed! I received so much love, support and ORDERS! I often joke about my business starting backwards, because I literally applied for my business license after I received my first orders. My intention was to make beautiful cakes for my babies; I never imagined that God would take my budding talent and make it into an actual business! That’s how Sweet Cravings Bakery was born!

I absolutely love what I do and I hope it shows in my work. I consider myself a forever student, because there is still so much I want to learn and improve on as a Cake Artist. When I am selected to make a cake for an event, I consider it an absolute honor. I treat every cake as a precious work of art that reflects an amazing moment in my client’s life.

When I’m not in the bakery, I love spending time with my family and friends, making videos on TikTok, and eating my way around Hampton Roads with my husband. Thank you for visiting my page! I hope that we can stay connected!
